There are birds such as the spot-billed ground tyrant (Muscisaxicola maculirostris nicefori), dove (Zenaida auriculata pentheria), Andean guan (Penélope montagnii montagni), band-winged nightjar (Caprimulgus longirostris ruficervix), Andean or white-throated toucanet (Aulacorhynchus prasinus albivitta) and three species of woodpecker (Piculus rivolii rivolii, Veniliornis fumigatus and Melanerpes formicivorus flavigula). Mammals include the white-tailed deer (Odocoileus goudotii), little red brocket deer (Mazama rufina bricenni), long-tailed weasel (Mustela frenata affinis) and tiger cat (Leopardus tigrinus). There are also bats (Artibeus litratus, Sturnira erythromus and Vampirops albiventris) and possums (Didelphis albiventris).
